Meet Kathryn
Kathryn Martello is a twentysomething fiction writer living in Brighton, Massachusetts with her cat, Amethyst. Originally from Mamaroneck, New York, she enjoys reading, writing, dancing at Club Cafe, trying new food, hanging out with friends, and going on dates with her loving partner. She has been writing since adolescence and hopes to reach people through her work.

Kathryn's Story
Kathryn has been pursuing creative arts from a young age. Her love for theater began at six when she was cast as a mouse in her elementary school’s production of Cinderella. Since then she continued to be involved in music, dance, and theater from elementary school throughout her college years. ​

Kathryn struggled with reading comprehension and spelling as a child and was placed in reading classes. It wasn’t until 5th grade she felt confident in her reading, and her love for storytelling was born (although her spelling may still be questionable at times).

​Kathryn studied English with a concentration in creative writing at Merrimack College, and she hopes to one day earn her MFA.
